Special Election to Fill Board Vacancies

The Rosedale Recreation Council is seeking dedicated volunteers to serve on its Executive Board. A Special Election will be held to fill the following officer positions. If you're passionate about strengthening recreation opportunities in our community, we encourage you to consider serving. 

CHAIRPERSON

The Chairperson facilitates Council meetings, encourages productive discussion, and helps ensure meetings are conducted in an organized and efficient manner. The Chairperson works collaboratively with the Executive Board and Council members to support committees, oversee assigned initiatives, and promote the Council's mission and goals.

RECORDING SECRETARY

Maintains the official records of the Council by preparing meeting agendas, recording accurate meeting minutes, maintaining Council documents, and preserving official records. The Recording Secretary helps ensure the Council's records are complete, organized, and available when needed.

CORESPONDING SECRETARY

Serves as the Council's communications officer by preparing and distributing official correspondence, meeting notices, announcements, and other communications. This position also helps maintain communication with Council members, program chairs, community organizations, and Baltimore County Recreation and Parks as directed by the Board.

BOARD DIRECTOR

Board Directors serve as voting members of the Board of Directors and help guide the overall direction of the Rosedale Recreation Council. Directors attend Board meetings, participate in discussions and decision-making, serve on committees, support Council programs and events, and represent the interests of the Rosedale community. Directors work collaboratively with the Council's officers to promote recreation opportunities, strengthen community partnerships, and ensure the Council fulfills its mission.
